The short version
DownTok has no accounts, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and doesn't keep the videos you download.
What happens to your link
When you press Download, the link you pasted is sent to our server on Cloudflare. The server requests the public TikTok page, reads the video details and sends them back to your browser. We don't save the link.
What happens to the files
Video, audio and image files stream from TikTok's servers through ours to your device. They are not stored or copied along the way.
Data we don't collect
We don't ask for your name, email or location, and we don't build profiles. The site doesn't set tracking cookies.
Third parties
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and may keep standard security logs. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and TikTok sees the request our server makes. Each of them has its own privacy policy.
Storage on your device
To load faster and work offline, the site saves its own pages and images in your browser's cache. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
